Lexi loves tu-tu's. We let her pick out her own clothes and it's usually a tu-tu of some sort. Here she is dancing to "See Me Run" in her tu-tu and head band. Oh, and don't forget her dancing shoes!

Kids Have Strokes, too! Blanket

With my new sewing machine, I've been making blankets. Sewing isn't my favorite, but I like to make blankets! I made Lexi a "Kids have strokes too" blanket! I thought it turned out pretty good. This was the first time I've ever used blanket binding and I kinda like it.

1-2-3, it was our anniversary!

Feels like a lot longer than only 3 years, but on May 8, 2012 we celebrated 3 hard, but wonderful years together! That afternoon, Terrell came home early from work and we got massages at Solase Massage & Oxygen Bar. It was much needed and was the best massage I've ever had! After that, we hopped on the motorcycle and drove up to Draper to have dinner at Applebee's (for a change of scenery haha). We finished off the evening watching Thor (which I gave him) and he brought me home my first sewing machine!

Utah Department of Health Hacked

Last month, we received about five bazillion letters regarding the database hacking of the Utah Dept. of Health. Seriously?! 750,000 people's information was hacked, and of those about 73,000 people's SSN were compromised.

Guess what? Lexi was one of the lucky few who got everything stolen. Yay. Today I finally got around to calling the hotline number to double-check everything and it turns out that Lexi's medical history, date of birth, etc was stolen but not her SSN. Phew! I checked Terrell's SSN and his was okay, along with all his information; however, it was actually me that was the lucky one that got everything stolen - including my SSN. Yay again.

For Lexi's credit, etc, I had it frozen until she's 17. I got a letter in the mail giving me a free year of ID Theft and credit protection, but I figured I'd use on Terrell's since his information was the one on Lexi's Medicaid account. Turns out it was meant for me to use since my stuff was the stuff compromised. Lame. So I had to call and request a new activation code for the free year of ID theft/credit protection. At least everyone is covered now.

All I can say is LAME. I wish the Utah Dept of Health would've caught it sooner - or had a better password since they got hacked because they had too weak of a password. I hope someone got fired for that.

Pizza & Applesauce

Awhile ago, we had pizza for dinner and had a fun "picnic" in the family room.

Applesauce:

Ever heard the saying "Criss-Cross Applesauce"? Sitting "cross-legged" or "Indian-style" or "applesauce" (as therapy calls it) is so difficult for Lexi. But that night, while eating pizza, she tried so hard to copy me and Terrell who were both sitting like that and she did it! We were so proud of her! This is a huge deal!

Coloring Easter Eggs

Lexi had such a fun time coloring Easter Eggs! Needless to say, our counter was a very lovely tye-dye color afterwards! :-)

It's tradition (started by my dad) to have an Easter basket hunt using clues from the scriptures. Since Lexi is still little, I use Primary songs. It was so much fun to watch Lexi help Daddy with the clues.
