A last minute trip to Iowa!

 We took a fun last minute trip to Iowa. We flew into Omaha where Lisa and Derek live, and saw lots of family! Mackenzie was blessed that day, so I got to see my adorable baby niece whom I wouldn't have seen until November or later! The Nelson's, Jespersen's, Evans', Mom & Dad, and Derek's parents and 2 of his sisters were there at the little "after picnic" and it was fun to see everyone! We saw some hot air balloons, too, which was cool. I wish I would've taken more pictures while we were there, but I was dumb! :-(

Lexi helped Grandpa pick tomatoes from the garden. The only bad part? She thought they were balls and ended up squishing them all over the carpet :-)

Cooper was the perfect little dog. Unfortunately, while we were all out of town, he was taken to a new home. It was pretty much out of our control and we miss this little guy! Lexi was pretty upset coming home from Iowa and not having her doggy there. Hopefully we can find one just as good someday.
