There is a fabulous group called Sockies for Sick Kiddies that sends little sock monkeys for kids that are having surgery, disabled, chronically ill/sick, etc. You send them a message with your kids' name, age, condition, and then these sweet people send your kid a sock monkey to cuddle when they are going through their hard time!
Lexi received hers in the mail yesterday and was so sweet about it! She loves it so much and says "this is for me when I'm having a hard time"! What a sweetie. Then, today, she says, "MOM! WAIT! I didn't even say THANK YOU yet!" I told her not to worry, we were going to make a special thank you card for them! :-)
