Swim Suit Possibilities!

I have looked and looked for swim suits 0-6 mon size in the stores and can ever only find 9 mon+ so I did some searching online (thanks Rachelle!) and found adorable possibilities. Here are our choices (in no particular order):

Fish Swim suit: Baby Gap

Pros: 2 piece, easy to change in/out of; diaper changing = easier; sleeves = less possible sunburn; cute color; my personal favorite

Cons: Most expensive of the 4

Cherry Swimsuit: Gymboree

Pros: snaps at the bottom for easy changing in/out of; easy diaper changing

Cons: only comes in 3-6m size; least personal favorite; expensive

Rosette Stripe: Old Navy

Pros: fairly cheap, cute cute cute

Cons: no easy changing in/out or diaper; only comes in 0-3m or 6m+

Giraffe Tutu: The Children's Place

Pros: Terrell's fav, cute and spunky, cap sleeved for more sun protection; cheapest

Cons: no easy access to changing in/out or diapers

Cutie-Patootie

Lexi is so cute. Yesterday she was sooo happy! She's been really starting to smile and yesterday she was smiling and playing a lot so of course I took pictures and a video. And isn't she a cutie-patootie? Here are a few pictures and the video. Sorry the video is sideways - make sure you turn your head or computer screen. It's also not very good quality for some reason, but it doesn't escape the fact that it's stinkin' adorable.

Biker Dude

For those of you who don't know, Terrell is a huge biker. Not a motorcyle. Actual bikes. He downhills (not so much anymore, actually), mountain bikes, and road bikes. He even has the gear to boot! (The picture, below, he's wearing blue MonaVie gear that he had just recently purchased and was trying on)

Recently, he bought a bike trainer so he can bike indoors on his actual bike. It's pretty much rollers that he sets his bike on and Terrell rides on that. It took him awhile to get used to balancing on rollers while biking, but now he's pro! Having a bike trainer allows him to bike in whatever whether because he can do it indoors! He was SO excited that he got it, and I'm glad he's so happy! He's been wanting one forever!

Jespersen Cousins

The Jespersens (along with Mom, Dad, and Jodi) came for Spring Break. Lexi's Jespersen cousins were such good helpers, with helping us move, and babysitting! Here are the Jespersen cousins with little Lexi!

when you're pregnant, your brain shrinks.

it's true. a proven fact. thanks pregnancy hormones; thanks for making us forget everything and for shrinking our brain.

you would think that BAM, just as you have your sweet little baby and no longer have a stomach the size of watermelon, your brain would inflate to its normal size and you could remember things.

the answer is nope. it doesn't. it takes awhile. therefore, you still have stinkin' forgetful post-pregnancy moments.

take for example, just yesterday, i was headed out the door to drive over and hang out with my lovely friend rachelle and her adorable baby cayden, when i shut the door to our apartment, walk up the stairs, and realize as i'm about to go to the car that my keys are locked inside our house. we don't have spares. so, now i have no way to get in the car, let alone drive, and no way to retrieve my keys inside my now locked house. and i have my little baby in her carseat, crying. and it was raining outside.

don't worry - i remembered diapers.

and on the bright side, i have a wonderful husband who doesn't work far away and literally ran home in the rain to let us inside. thanks honey, you are the best.
