UPDATE

As you all know, me and social media are friends - blogging, facebook, email, pinterest. And I'm always doing projects with pictures, Word, or whatever. We haven't had a computer since before Christmas and I've had to try and use my phone when I need to check something. It's been really frustrating! Luckily, Terrell can bring home his laptop once in a while so I can blog and such!

Here is an update, with many posts and pictures to come this weekend.

Terrell
Well, let's start off by saying that I just witnessed Terrell head banging with Lexi's Rapunzel hair on. It was definitely something to remember!
Terrell's been hard at work gearing up for his race season which starts the 28th. He's headed off to Miami, then Orlando, then Jacksonville! What a lucky duck! We wish we could go with him. At work, he's been getting all the trailers and equipment ready (out in the COLD!!!) and has been working on hiring some new guys.
He has also been trying to get to the gym and get super-ultra-mega buff. Guess he needs some new shirts for fear of ripping them with his guns!
Terrell has been going to see the NAET doctor (alternative doctor) to help with his asthma stuff so we are hopeful about that!

Kellie
I've started going to the gym again and I must say that I really do love it. And I'm not being sarcastic. I've been able to go every night this week which has been great! I've also been using doTERRA oils (I don't sell them, I just use a few) and I'm so happy that they actually WORK!
I feel like all I do is clean, so I've been taking PS3 breaks and playing Lego Lord of the Rings which I am determined to fully complete! I'm a nerd!
I've also been trying to find out what daily things (discipline, structure, etc) works the best for Lexi. So far, when she is upset it usually turns into hysteria which she can no longer control - I've that drawing out feelings faces and asking her if she feels "____"  and pointing to the picture works best.
I am continuing to work on my Lucky '13 goals - and so far so good!

Lexi
Lexi is still loving gymnastics! She just had her mid-season gymnastics showcase and had fun! We are so proud of her for her persistence in trying to do some of the skills that are hard for her - she's such a fun gymnastics girl to watch!
Lately Lexi has been wanting to be a rock-star and practices all day with her little toy microphone. Sometimes it's so cute and other times I want some ear-plugs! A funny moment during her rock-star practice the other day....she got one of her Barbie's guitars and starts rocking out to her own version of "I am a Child of God". Sassy and spiritual all at the same time.
She still loves Rapunzel to the point of crazy and loves to waddle like a penguin. In fact, today, she told me "Mom! My foot hurts! How am I suppose to waddle?!" Tragic isn't it?!
Lexi has had weekly therapy and is gearing up to start meeting with her Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR)(spinal/nerve surgery) team. I'm nervous and excited for what the SDR journey will bring!

Rosie
Love/hate relationship with Rosie right now! Luckily, she started her professional training last week. We are very hopeful and excited! She's pretty much full grown now. I'm constantly vacuuming up stuffed animal stuffing. So exciting.

Family
Terrell and I were switched over to the CTR 4 class. Those kids are cute, but give us a workout! I'm so nervous about when Terrell starts travelling and I'll be teaching them by myself every other Sunday! :-s
Lexi loves that our family is forever and is constantly singing "Families are Forever" and wanting to hold our hands and say that our family is forever! I'm grateful for that knowledge, too!
We are all tired of snow, ice, and cold - - - is it summer yet???

The Scoop

So, our computer is broken so that is my excuse for no blog posts. Or pictures. I decided to do a quick update using Terrell's work laptop so I don't forget about our life lately!

Terrell
Terrell has enjoyed his time off for the holidays but was definitely ready to head back to work - this guy needs to stay busy! Due to the crazy cold temperatures, he hasn't been able to ride (motorcycle or bike) in a long time! He's gearing up to start the racing season at the end of this month, where he will spend most of February in Florida (lucky). He's excited to try out all his new stuff that he got for Christmas - lots of new cycling clothes! He also got something else he's been wanting for a long time and has already used it at the range (hint) once. I'm itching to use it myself! He recently built Lexi a cool fort out of PVC pipes and fabric which earned him serious cool dad points. He's played all the Assassin's Creed games on the PS3 and still thinks it'd be awesome to be a sniper.

Kellie
Wow, when it's my turn to write about myself I can't really think of anything that's new....? Let's see. I'm growing my hair out real long again. Lexi told me that I have white hair (OH NO MOM! WHAT HAPPENED?!?!) and I just sigh and say, yeah, I have white hair. I'm trying to de-pop myself (in more ways than one... soda pop, and body pop... get it?!) I've been taking pictures with my new cool camera, playing Lego Lord of the Rings, and Terrell and I recently finished watching all of Alias. I'm starting to feel old... I turn 25 this year... what the heck...shouldn't I still be in high school?

Lexi
Princess Lexi is sick today -  nasty cold! Boo. She's getting taller, but not bigger, and we've had to buy a few new clothing items lately. She's trying to potty-train where she earns gold doubloons for her treasure chest that she will get to cash in for a new Barbie. She's excited about her birthday next month. She can tell you her whole name, month and day of her birthday, and her mommy and daddy's real name. She sings all day, plays Barbies, idolizes Rapunzel, and dances til the sun goes down (and after). She knows lots of the lyrics to the Rapunzel/Tangled soundtrack and talks all day long. When she's not singing of course! She's already planning her wedding to Fox in the temple, and calls all of her little boy friends her Princes. Her best friend is named Scarlett and they pretty much love each other to death. Lexi is still obsessed with her binky and it's been a big struggle for us to rid her of that. Alas, she's a cute little fire-cracker. She came in to Primary the other day with some of her nursery-mates that are moving to Sunbeams, and she did AWESOME! She sang, was obedient, and even said the closing prayer! She was such a great singer that she got picked to go "fishing" for the next song! She will still be in nursery for another year.

Rosie
Rosie/Ro-Ro/Rose/Puppa/RosieRoPuppaPup is 24 lbs. She's just over 4 months and probably won't be gaining much more weight. She will be around 30 lbs, and get just a little taller. She's an attention seeker who is a stinker pot puppy every other day. She begins her professional training in one week. She has yet to master "dancing" that Lexi so wants her to learn. Lexi and Rosie have a sibling complex. Entertainment (and frustration) at it's finest.
