Just like Grandma

 This post is for my mom who always has her eyes closed in pictures. Lexi is "just like grandma" and always has her eyes closed during pictures - if she's actually LOOKING towards the camera anyways. These pictures crack me up! I'm glad that she wants to be so much like you Mom! :)

When you wish upon a blog....

...you still don't get your wishes. lame. :)

I wish....
....i could go on a book shopping spree
....the word "No" did not exist in the toddler language
....i could find $500 on my doorstep
....it would be Christmas (sans snowstorm)
....my honey was home
....the Hunger Games movie and The Help movie were already in theaters
....my burn would go away so I could go to 7 Peaks
....Wymount magically turned into a fabulous condo
....i looked like i did in high school. yeah.
....i had a never-ending supply of stamps (yes, the snail mail kind!)
....getting Dora songs out of my head could be as easy as snapping my fingers

Cozy Coupe

Out in our quad is this really old and broken Cozy Coupe by Little Tikes. It's pretty much the favorite toy of all the kiddies. Lexi thinks its hers. She will always go directly to this broken car and go for a drive!

Using my Pampers Gifts to Grow Points, I'm saving up to get Lexi her own Cozy Coupe!

Friends give you cake.

The other day, my lovely friend Ceci called me up and asked

"Chocolate or Lemon?"

"For what?"

"Cake."

"Lemon"

"Okay, thanks!"

I thought I was settling some dispute out in the quad regarding which one was better! Little did I know, Miss Ceci brought me this beautiful - not to mention DELISSSSH - cake! Isn't she so good at cake making? Go, Cec! I felt pretty darn special to get a cake with my name on it!

Thanks, Ceci! You're the best!

hard day
